A shoulder injury left me unable to use my dominant arm for months. For someone whose creativity depends on her hands, the experience was devastating. I couldn’t draw, type, or even complete the simplest tasks without help. Something I’m passionate about and that gave me purpose felt completely out of reach.

I tried everything I could to push through and I had to face the fact that healing wasn’t something I could rush. I had to pause, which admittedly is something I wasn’t used to doing lol. In that pause, I gained a deeper understanding of what resilience truly means.

Every business owner knows the pain of setbacks. Whether it’s a delayed project, a lost client, or an unexpected challenge (like Covid), there are moments when it feels like everything you’ve worked for is slipping away.
