VIBE: Luxurious & sophisticated 

Elysium is a hemp-based skincare brand built for the consumer who doesn't need to be convinced that plant-based ingredients work, they need to be convinced that this brand is worth their counter space.

The challenge here wasn't just design. It was repositioning an entire category perception: away from the hazy, informal aesthetic that dominates the hemp space and into something that belongs alongside the most refined names in luxury skincare.

To establish Elysium as a premium skincare brand that commands attention, justifies a high price point, & distances itself entirely from the commoditized hemp market through a visual identity that feels as sophisticated as the product it represents.

BRAND GOAL

Most hemp brands use the stereotypical marijuana leaf iconography and earthy greens and Elysium needed to stand from the typical.

The branding for this project reinterprets the hemp plant as an elegant botanical branch. familiar enough to nod to the main ingredient, yet refined enough to never read as recreational. Cool teal tones and deep greens were chosen to feel sophisticated rather than rustic. Metallic foiling on the packaging adds a luxurious touch from the moment someone picks it up.
